A man has taken his own life. To Suyeon, he was a father, and to Inseon, a husband. Even as the third anniversary of his passing approaches, those left behind still suffer from sleepless nights. Suyeon and Inseon lost the same person, but they did not go through the same experience, and the weight of grief grows heavier over time, creating a large rift between them. BEAUTIFUL DREAMER steps into the void created by the absence of a loved one, exploring how different forms of mourning arise. The characters stumble into that emptiness time and again, yet chance encounters, bonds they cling to, and countless rewound memories slowly, if haltingly, lead them back to a “normal and good” place.
