Independent, Fatso and Petal are three best friends who have failed the all-important college entrance exam. Lacking ambition and talent, these three are members of Korea′s Generation X, consuming away their youth in postmodern degeneracy until they learn the military wants them. T scape military service, Independent attempts suicide and Fatso gains a lot of weight. Petal however, sees the draft as his chance to re-invent his fledgling masculinity and escape his family problems.
