KIM Mi-jo

Korea Director

In her feature directorial debut, Gull (2021), Kim Mi-jo portrayed the story of a middle-aged woman reclaiming her dignity in the aftermath of sexual violence. In her second feature, The Journey to Gyeongju (2026), she weaves themes of family, loss, revenge, and mourning with black comedy and genre sensibilities.

KIM Yong-wan

Korea Director

Kim Yong-wan directed short films including INTERVENTION (2011) and Daytime Moon (2013), as well as feature films such as Champion (2018) and The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey (2021). His directorial work in television and streaming includes the drama series The Cursed (2020), If You Wish Upon Me (2022), and Head Over Heels (2025), along with the Netflix series The Whirlwind (2024). He is currently writing screenplays for upcoming film and television projects.

SHIN Joon

Korea Director

Shin Joon majored in film directing at the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, Korea National University of Arts. His feature directorial debut, Yongsoon (2017), was invited to the Korean Cinema Today - Vision section at the 21st Busan International Film Festival, where it won the Daemyung Culture Wave Award. In 2025, he received the Best New Director Award at the 46th Golden Cinematography Awards for his second feature, THE FAVOR. Moving seamlessly across a boundless spectrum from period dramas, action, and comedy to sci-fi fantasy, he continues to build a diverse sensory cinematic world.
