Theater Regulations
As a rule, each screening begins on schedule.
Entry is allowed until 15 minutes after the screening starts.
Admission to the theater is available 15 minutes before the screening begins. It is subject to change depending on the situation on-site.
You must present a valid ticket (mobile or paper) at the theater entrance.
Screenshots of mobile tickets or reservation confirmation messages (such as emails or text messages) will not be accepted and bearers will not be allowed to enter.
Ticket holders under 19 are not permitted to enter screenings rated “Restricted (19+),” even when accompanied by a guardian.
* Those who turn 19 during the calendar year are exempt.
Children under 4 are not allowed to enter even if they are accompanied by their guardian.
Alcoholic beverages or food purchased outside the Cinema are not allowed.
Only bottled water is allowed in the Busan Cinema Center Haneulyeon Theatre, the KOFIC Theater, Sohyang Theatre Woori Bank Hall, and Busan Community Media Center Open Hall.
All photography and video recordings are strictly forbidden, including during the trailers and the ending credits.
In the case of Guest Visits or other events held in the theater, you may take photos following guidance from staff.
Official photography and filming take place at Busan International Film Festival screening venues. Images and footage may be used for festival promotion, documentation and archiving through BIFF’s website, social media and other online and offline channels. By participating in the event, you will be deemed to have consented to such use.
Changing seats during the screening is not allowed. Please refrain from re-entering the theater once the screening has begun.
Please make a reservation considering the location and travel time of each theater.
Please give your full cooperation to staff or volunteers in all event venues.

Busan Cinema Center Roof Theater Admission Time

Entry times are subject to change depending on-site conditions. Please follow the guidance of the staff and volunteers.
Gate Locations
GATE 2: Located opposite APEC Naru Park. Entry gate through the side passage between the Double Cone and Zone 8 of the Roof Theater
GATE 3: Located opposite the KNN building entrance
Re-entry Only Gate: Dedicated gate for re-entry. Only re-entry is permitted.
※ Re-entry is also possible through GATE 2 and GATE 3, as well as the Re-enrty Gate.
※ Restrooms are located on the 1st floor of BIFF Hill and the 1st floor of Cinemountain.
Preparations for Open Cinema screenings will begin immediately after special outdoor events (e.g., Stage Greetings, Open Talks) end at the Roof Theater.
All audience members must temporarily exit the venue once the outdoor event concludes. Ticket holders for the 20:00 Open Cinema screening may enter after ticket inspection at the gates.
※ Attendees who only watched the outdoor stage greeting or Open Talk are kindly requested to exit safely and promptly under the guidance of staff and volunteers to ensure smooth screening preparations.
Seating GuidelinesThe Busan Cinema Center Roof Theatre operates on an unreserved seating basis.
Since seats are not assigned, please take any available seat in order of entry.
※ To ensure a smooth viewing experience for everyone, please fill the seats sequentially without leaving empty gaps between them.
