A cultural project of the Busan International Film Festival initiated with the hope of becoming a film festival that everyone can join.
The main signature of [p!tt] is a logotype composed of the unique alphabet form ‘p!tt,’ derived from an upside-down shape of biff, the English initials of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
This symbolizes that [p!tt] is a label that cannot be separated from BIFF, and at the same time, it is a part of the BIFF that can interpret the world of BIFF in a bit different and fresh way.
Not losing the originality of BIFF,
And exploring new freedoms beyond BIFF,
Content and space where everyone discovers their tastes with BIFF,
This is [p!tt].

The graphic motif of the fifth p!tt starts from 35mm film, which was the standard in film production.
A cinematic characteristic maintained since the introduction of sound films to simultaneously capture precise sound expression and natural motion blur, ‘24fps’ (24 frames per second) is reflected in this year’s graphic. Just as 24 frames compose a single second, a day in our lives consists of 24 hours of everyday scenes, forming a continuous sequence.
The slogan of this year’s p!tt is ‘Into Your Cinema Life,’ a cinematic moment that seeps into daily life.

When the 10 days of the festival seep into our 365 days, and the magic on the screen spreads into our spaces and lives, the feeling that the ‘film festival’ leaves with us expands into our everyday lives.

The poster of the fifth p!tt shapes a cinematic movement by expressing letters P I T T metaphorically through the film frames turned over consecutively like flipbooks.

The typography that shows the beginning and end of the festival and the p!tt is inspired by the letters and symbols printed on the edges of film.
Like the letters on the vintage film, it captures a cinematic mood within each date and venue information.
Beyond the moment of the festival and into a lifestyle,
A new memory connecting the theater and everyday life begins again.
