Program Note
A Korean-Chinese working at a karaoke bar tries to avoid other people in her Korean class. She lies to another Korean-Chinese in her class that she works at a restaurant, but witnesses that other girl working at a karaoke bar too. A serene short story telling us the hopeless life of a Korean-Chinese woman. (NAM Dong-chul)

Since his debut with 20’s generation meeting them in 2008, Kim Jong-woo has directed a number of independent short documentary films including pottery maker- Yoo Gil Soo and Street Mural. He has recently finished shooting of Beijing Bicycle in China, a joint Korea-China film, which is now in the stage of completion.
