Born in Bali, Indonesia in 1972, Wulia studied at a music school in Denpasar. She worked as an architect, film composer and music teacher. While working with digital media in Boston, MA, USA, in 1996, she learned how to make tiny movies through digital video editing, and decided to dedicate her talents into experimenting with filmmaking. Her dream is to travel from the South Pole to the North, making short films along the way.
