Shinchi loses his footing while on a date with his girlfriend, Kaori. He has been in a coma ever since. Kaon, a drama student, has been trying to nurse Shinchi back to health. One day, Kaori′s computer Crashes. She leaves it running all night and in the morning, she discovers that the computer has been repaired. Even more startling, there is an email from her unconscious boyfriend. At first, she suspects it is a cruel trick, but the emails keep arriving.
