Royston tan ten Tan tackles the issue of censorship in cut. Featuring cameos of notables from Singapore′s artistic community, this short film articulates the pent-up frustrations from both the perspective of Singaporean
ete and their audiences. Though Cut is unapologetic in its scathing criticism of Singapore′s censorship eystem, the film, ultimately, is an attempt to find a middle path to bridge the dívide between an increasingly Vocal civil society and its govemment.
