Program Note
Sara Jeanne, an old prostitute in a Gijichon (military camp-side town), realizes she cannolonger lead her life as a prostitute. Hiding wrinkles under thick make-up and dependent onalcohol, she tries hard to survive in the town. She doesn′t even have a social security numberwhich would enable her to get minimum government support. By following her on a single nardday, this short film forces us to look into her whole weary life. The director′s thoughtful camerabeautifully captures the places where Sara Jeanne lives.
