Lost Embrace is the story of a first, painful encounter between a father and his adult son. Ariel Iives in a slightly seedy shopping district in Buenos Aires. His mother sells lingerie, his brother is. an importer-exporter and among his neighbors are screaming Italians and feng-shui dealing Koreans. Regardless of the general malaise blanketing the area, it′s comfortable. One thing that many of the younger dwellers have in common is their search for ancestral roots that will secure a coveted foreign passport. The only thing Daniel wants, however, is to understand the truth of his father′s disappearance when he was a child, and why his mother and brother don′t seem to care. Ariel has only anecdotal bits and pieces of his father and when the new truth is revealed, it changes everything.
