Hong Kong, the beginning of the year 1997. An immigrant man returns to look for work. Unable to find anything, he sets himself up as an immigration advisor, and meets a girl at a train station who he falls in love with at an amusement park. A street cleaner lies wide awake in bed with his pregnant wife, feeling trapped.
