Program Note
Informal women workers, who undertake various jobs such as manual labor in domestic factories, delivering yogurt, and teaching workbooks door-to-door, work very hard but they are not guaranteed the same rights as legal workers under the current insecure employment system. The camera reveals their everyday reality and their hopes hidden beneath. This is a documentary that allows the viewers to take a look at our current surroundings in a different light.

KIM Taeil
As a member of PURN Production, a documentary production circle, KIM has produced documentaries about the recent history of Korea like [A Mother](1995) and [April 9](2000). KIM won Woonpa Award at 2005 PIFF with [Annyong, Sayonara](2005), he continues to make documentaries observing the history of people.
