After retiring from the naval services, a man is employed as a guard in an apartment and even though he tries his best, he can′t seem to communicate with people. The only communication he has with another person is when he uses the searchlight on top of the roof and receives signals from an anonymous friend afar. The person he hates the most is the electrician who is always pestering him about parking problems. He does not know that his happiness lies with the work the electrician does. This short film is much like a fairy tale depicting the lonely life of a modem man through Kim Chang-wan′s performance and music.(Hong Hyo sook)
