O-Nu-Ri lives a happy and peaceful life near the Won-chun River with a crane and her violet praying marbles. One day she is kidnapped by some seamen and taken somewhere. O-Nu-Ri misses her friend, the crane, and begins a long journey home to Won-chun River. Based on the folk tale of Jeju, this film is a fable about fate and attachment. Like a story told by grandmother, the striking color sense and expressions make this film quite heart-warming for the viewers.
