Attitudes to the distant and recent past, and the reality and quality of contemporary life in Belarus are interpreted through movement and expression by mime artist Viacheslav Inozemtsev. An actor and director at the InZest Pantomime Theatre, Inozemtsev presents himself here as an unperceived, intangible and eerie "wanderer" through time and space. The traveller is confronted by archival news footage and integrated with his "creation-reaction" into the natural village and urban scenery captured on film. He sublimely personifies the judgement, memory and consciousness of national existence.
