Program Note

Two young souls meet for a poetry reading in an urban forest pavilion. The woman begins: “If you love too much, you become a ghost.” She hopes to convey her feelings through poetry, but the man is fixated on the form. Then comes an unexpected twist. OH Seyeon

Oh Seyeon is currently studying in the Department of Film at the Korea National University of Arts. Her first directorial work, the feature documentary Fanatic (2021), was invited to numerous festivals including the Busan International Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival (SIFF), Women’s Film Festival in Gwangju (WFFIG), Udine Far East Film Festival, and the London Korean Film Festival. She received the Special Jury Prize at the Independent Film Festival Busan.
