Program Note

Suraj PAUDEL

Suraj Paudel is a filmmaker, writer, and editor from Nepal. An alum of the 2022 Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Film Academy, he edited Lori (2022), which received a Short Film Special Mention from the Jury at Cannes. He has directed the short films My View H2O (2012) and AAMA:Mother (2015) and is currently developing the script for his feature film Where the River Runs South, selected for the Asian Project Market (APM) and the Asian Cinema Fund (ACF).
