Program Note
In a remote mountain village, eleven-year-old Lei resents her mother’s decision to move to the city for her education. Facing separation from her best friend, Lei heads to their secret hideout in the valley, where old murals that seem alive brings her comfort. (PARK Sungho)

LIM Han Loong
Lim Han Loong graduated with a degree in communication studies from the University of Science Malaysia (USM) and has been pursuing film directing since 2012. His short films including The Way We Love (2014), 1304 KM: Girl from Sumatra (2016), and Family Dinner (2020) were selected for film festivals including the SeaShorts and the Bali International Short Film Festival. He is currently working on his first feature film.
