Flying on Wind is a sensitive film with graceful, florid images and moderated dialogues without any superfluities. A boy and a girl, who don′t resemble each other a bit, are standing in a field. The girl, who hobbles severely, leads the boy with closed eyes, telling him to feel the wind. "Can you feel it?" the film gives us the impression we are meeting our purified self in the screen. The screen has the power to turn us back to the days of our lost nature and sensibility. The transparent nature of this film, reminding us of a twinkle from a fish′s split second rise above the water, makes us dream during the 5 minutes of its flight. Who knows whether we could answer the girl′s question.. we can just relax, stop breathing for a moment and immerse ourselves into the sea of senses. (Ha Seung-Hee)
