1001 Nights is a visually rich animated tale of two people in a desperate search for love. Prince Kamaal and Princess Budu are two lonely people brought together by their respective fairies, Mamune and Derrish. In a dreamlike world, the two lovers are united in a brief wonderful encounter. Convinced that each of their dreams was real - as evidenced by the rings they exchanged - they pine for one another. The fairies help to reunite the two lovers, although they must still escape the demons that haunt them both. (production notes)
