The memories of oppression and violence are reflected upon a young man‘s spirit, as he is shot to death in a questionable circumstance while serving in the army. His memories presented in intermittent images, revive the fear and anxiety from the autocratic military regime that trampled down his soul. Bardo is a Buddhist term for a state in which the spirit, still caught between this life and the world beyond, contemplates its life on earth. (Nam In-Young)
