record of their travels during the day becomes dreamy with the script for Carrier
Woman. A strange, nostalgic aura surrounds this film.

HWANG Dong-uk
Born in Germany in 1990, Hwang Donguk grew up in Seoul and studied architecture. He directs documentaries and feature films. He has directed seven shorts—Fall in Autumn (2019), A Long Way (2019), Rose, Flowing in the Wave (2020), Disco Queen (2020), Fallen People (2021), Daydream (2021) and Looking for IMYMEMINE (2021). Carrier Woman is his eighth film.
