Program Note

Young-ju returns to her father’s home after five years away. His various keepsakes and the traces of his life are difficult to face; her relationships exist only as memories the objects recall. Director Chung Ji-yun’s camera work and one scene, one cut construction allows the audience to experience 20 years of Young-ju’s emotions along with her. (MOON Woong)

Chung Ji Yun is currently studying filmmaking at Konkuk University and has already worked on the feature films <Choked>, <Forest> and <Keep Quiet> and as camera assistant for Song Ilgon’s <Always>. Her films include <It Happened One Night> (2008), and <A Good Day To Drink> (2011).
