Program Note

A night owl sculptor and an early riser delivery man are neighbors divided by a thin wall. Their conflict over noise levels escalates into a war, in which each ends up trashing his own apartment, leading to an unexpected end. An animation with a witty commentary on communication.

Director

LEE Minhyoung

Lee Minhyoung studied film at Yong In University and is currently working on his MFA in visual arts at Chung-Ang University’s Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia, and Film. He directed his first short, Homeless in Seoul (2020), while attending Yong In University. He co-directed his second short, Door, with Bae Seonggyeol and Kim Changmin.

BAE Seongyeol

Bae Seongyeol majored in Fine Arts at Wonkwang University and is currently working on his MFA in visual arts at Chung-Ang University’s Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia, and Film. Door is his first short film, co-directed with Lee Minhyoung and Kim Changmin.

KIM Changmin

Kim Changmin majored in Visual Communication Design at Wonkwang University and is currently working on his MFA in visual arts at Chung-Ang University’s Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia, and Film. Door is his first short film, co-directed with Lee Minhyoung and Bae Seonggyeol.
