Program Note
A woman’s long day of taking care of her Asperger’s-afflicted son while trying to earn a living is complicated when she loses her job. A child who is indifferent to her suffering and the hardships of her life lead her to a frightening decision. Sensitive direction and strong, empathetic performances capture the tension between the mother and son. (CHO Young-jung)

Kaynipa POLNIKORN
Earned a Master degree of Media Arts in Film Production from University of Technology Sydney in 2004, she worked as a script assistant to Ekachai Uekrongtham’s <Pleasure Factory>(2008) and <Bare>(2012). Her short film, <The Tree>(2010) has been invited to Hong Kong International Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Thai Short Film and Video Festival. Her feature project <Palung>(2012) has been selected for project market (Co-FPC) at the 15th Shanghai Film Festival.
