Born and raised in Singapore, he spent most of his life either staring into a lens or guiding it. Inspired to hold the camera by his father, Eric Khoo, he began his filmmaking endeavors with simple home videos and school projects. Ultimately, his burgeoning passion for film led him to create his first short narrative work, <Late Shift>.
