Li Mingyang was born in Chongqing, China, in 1998. He began systematic film study at Shanghai Vancouver Film School in 2019, where he made films with realistic themes, including Brown Night and Sarira. He also wrote the script of Endless Yangtze River, which he is also preparing as his first feature film.
