Kazakhstan-born second generation Koryoin Son Lavrenti is the interviewer of the film featuring variety of people fluent in Koryo. Experiences under the Soviet regime were oppressive, but also created tribal ties and affiliation among various races. the traces of the dramatic history inside the community of disintegration and affiliation.

SON Lavrenti

The second generation of Koryoin born in Kazakhstan in 1941 and the first Koryoin who entered Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. As a screenwriter and director, he founded Son Cinema producing documentary films about ethnic minorities in the Soviet Union. He won the grand prize at the 2006 Moscow International Television Forum for his documentary The Enemy of the People.
