Program Note

After sudden unification, the Korean peninsula is struggling with economic chaos. An old laborer, Chan-ki, receives a new high-tech telephone from his son in China and goes to seek help from his neighbor, as he does not know how to use it.

HONG Eui-jeong

Hong Eui-Jeong graduated from Korea National University of Arts in 2005 and worked as a producer/assistant director for several commercials and music videos. In 2013, she completed a Cinema major at London Film School and has been directing short films and commercials based in London. She is currently preparing her feature film debut.
