Program Note
Shooting a documentary on the drug trade quickly descends into a dangerous obsession for two student filmmakers. With brothers Betong and Roel as underworld guides, the students become characters in their own film as the night wears on, crossing the line between observer and creator.

Carlo FAJARDA
Carlo Fajarda started out in film by shooting music videos for his class, while he was still in high-school. At that time, he was also developing his writing by making short stories as a hobby. He graduated the University of Saint Benilde at the age of 20. Suerte is his graduation thesis film.
