Program Note
We see vague memories through the eyes of a young girl - the scars of youth - as she encounters uncertain emotions. Bo-Young, who lives in the countryside, encounters an unfamiliar boy when she goes skating on a frozen river. She becomes frightened and runs back home, leaving her skates behind. When the next spring comes, she goes out to the river where the water is now flowing. Beautifully shot in black and white. (Lee Sang-Yong)
