Program Note
Sam-Shik steals storylines from pron videos and uses them in cheesy film scripts; Hwa-Jung dreams about being an actress while she works at a bakery. In a realistic depiction of everyday life, and eschewing high drama, Glass Ceiling uses documentary-style elements to depict their lives lives in an understated fashion. When Sam-Shik takes Hwa-Jung′s advice to use his own experiences for inspiration, he sees that the fake life is too heavy, just like in the movies. (Lee Sang-Yong)
