The theme of deep repression throws conventional narrative logic out the window in this phantasmagoric film about the unknowable forces of nature which drive humans to extreme behavior. A man hallucinates after an encounter with a UFO. When his spirit shatters, even a woman′s love cannot help him, and he turns to suicide. After death, he encounters others like him. It′s impossible to remain unconnected, even in the afterlife. Caught on barbed-wire, he turns to ashes and vanishes. (Kwon Yong-Min)
