Mumbai in 2015 is the center of India’s economy as well as the trendy, hip city of youth. O Kadhal Kanmani is a romantic drama set in Mumbai—the love story of a couple that is irresistibly energetic and full of youthful vigor. Tara, an architect, and Adi, a game developer, meet by chance and fall rapidly in love. They move in together, but soon find that Tara must leave for France to continue her education, and Adi must go to the United States to further his career. To top it off, Tara has decided never to wed after seeing her mother’s unhappy marriage. The time has come for them to choose between love and reality. When they can no longer be together, should one give up one’s future for love, or kill love and go one’s own way?
