Program Note
This short is about a story of a village artist who paints eyes on idols of the Goddess Durga, and his boundless love for his granddaughter, and his faith. Ultimately, he makes a pivotal choice that justifies his purpose in life not only towards his granddaughter but also his vocation. (KIM Young-woo)

Vivek KAJARIA
An ardent supporter of independent film, Vivek Kajaria produced the award-winning films Anumati (2013), Shala (2013), and Fandry (2014), which each received the National Film Award of India as well as enjoying great acclaim on the film festival circuit. Durga is his debut feature as a director.
