After a long day working construction, a man’s journey home seems daunting. Finally at home he washes off the dust of the road and dresses in a colorful, fancy costume. He begins to dance in honor of Ganesha, God of wisdom and fortune and Lord of the mass. The vibrant dance contrasts with the desolate beauty that fills the screen. (CHO Young-jung)

Bikas Ranjan MISHRA
Bikas Ranjan Mishra is a graduate of AJK Mass Communication Research Centre in New Delhi. He is also a film critic and festival curator based in Mumbai, and the founder and editor of Indian cinema portal DearCinema.com. His filmography includes the short [Sweetheart in the Cupboard] (2004), and he is currently developing his first feature film.
