With tremendous patience, a blind girl teaches a speech-impaired boy how to speak to help him become an imam. As he learns to say the prayers, he becomes a man. At the same time, the girl herself made the choice as to who would guide her through darkness. As they complete each other’s shortcomings, they enter into adulthood as one. (CHO Young-jung)

Born in Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia BW PURBA NEGARA is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at Gadjah Mada University. Completely self-trained, he co-founded the production house Limaenam Films and has made several documentaries and shorts under its banner. His filmography includes [Cheng Cheng Po] (2007), [Wanderers] (2008), and [Say Hello To Yellow] (2011).
