Tracking a group of illegally trafficked people from Mindanao to Malaysia, Ways of the Sea focuses instead on the hopes and dreams of those trafficked as they seek to escape poverty and instead run into perilous uncertainty.

Sheron DAYOC
Mindanaon filmmaker, visual artist, editor, cinematographer, and producer Sheron R. Dayoc was enrolled in PIFF’s Asian Film Academy and is best known as a documentary filmmaker. His filmography includes [Dreams and Trails of Water](both 2008). [Ways of the Sea] is his feature film debut.
