Program Note

An old man living alone by the sea dreams of his youth. However, as he nears the end of his life, waves visit his dream in a completely unforeseen way. Capturing the last moments of the man’s life, the film uses delicate sound design and images creating a moment. (Jin PARK)

Alyx DUNCAN

Choreographer and filmmaker Alyx Duncan hails from Auckland and holds an MA in theater arts from Victoria University and Wellington’s Toi Whakaari (New Zealand Drama School), and a BA in dance from Unitec in New Zealand. Duncan’s credits include Union(2003), Pandora(2006), Appetite(2009) and The Red House(2012).
