Cape Town, South Africa. Terri makes money as a phone sex operator and her lover, Sandile, works as a dog handler. Their romance is perfect. So perfect it seems their relationship is the result of a larger conspiracy with the involvement of friends, family, and perhaps even a greater force. Meanwhile, a third character comes into the picture. He is a computer technician, Eugene, who is in agony over his past relationship. The film begins with Terri and Sandile, but ends with a connection between Terri and Eugene through phone sex. The director does a superb job intimately portraying the complicated emotions and experiences these three characters feel and go through as they search for answers to the many questions on their minds about love, happiness, and life. It is a uniquely, improvised piece, which won the Best South African Feature Film award at the Durban International Film Festival 2014. (LEE Soue-won)
