This frightening supernatural shockumentary portrays Katie and Micah, a carefree couple who become haunted by an unseen presence in their house. Tired of hearing an unidentified noise night after night, they decide to investigate the increasingly bizarre and escalating intrusions by setting up a video surveillance to capture evidence of the demonic presence in their house, only to find much more than they ever imagined. Their surveillance and home videos have been edited into the 86 minute feature film [Paranormal Activity]. A breakout success story after rave receptions at ScreamFest and Slamdance Film Festival, the film will be distributed in the U.S. by Paramount. This psychological thriller similar to [The Blair Witch Project] was briefly introduced in 2007 and immediately brought about a sensation, and since then the film was not shown in anywhere for two years. It is now being unveiled at PIFF.
