Herve is from an immigrant family and a middle school student who lives with a single mother. It is that age when sexual desire is at highest, Herve wishes to have one deep French kiss with a woman. Somehow, the most beautiful girl in his class, Aurore, shows interest on mediocre Herve, but without knowing what to do, he acts only awkward, clumsy, and hesitantly. The film is a sort of growth film which shows a boy in his puberty years who meets a girl, and it is a cheerful film which will make the audience laugh. Riad Satouff exhibited his experience as an adolescent cartoonist to make something extraordinary from an ordinary subject. If one feels that nothing makes him laugh, this is the film to watch. It is the director’s first feature film.
