A boy is riding a bicycle upon a vast field to go to school. The school will be shut down if the number of students is less than sixteen. A young female teacher is waiting for the 16th student, as the bicycle shows up, the school remains open. While getting an education looks extravagant to the kids on such a poor island, the young teacher and children still keep their dreams for a better future like a beautiful rainbow even in the severe environment. Once was one of the richest islands in Indonesia, Belitong Island is now a poor island after the factories were shut down. As the economic became aggravated, the school for Muslims is taken a blow. Set in such a social background, this film portrays a difficult, but romantic growing-up story of the children with a hint of childhood nostalgia.
