Program Note
2008 AND Fund Project
The film is set on the streets of Seoul where the autumn leaves are starting to fall. The camera, which wanders around Saemteo restaurant, stops in front of a young man named Jerry K, an activist named Ahn Sung-min, and the owner of the restaurant, and spends winter, spring, and summer with them. The different lives of the characters find universality in a particular space called Hongdae. Like the people who pass by, the camera serenely captures hopeful stories. (HONG Hyosook)
