After her mother’s death, Jaya visits his father. His father, who did not even know of Jaya’s existence, rejects him. Rather, he rejects his entire past. Young Jaya realizes that he cannot expect anything from his father and becomes independently strong in order to survive. In spite of himself, his father watches him. His father tries to approach his son, but this time, it is Jaya who does the rejecting. The film tracks the process of a father and son finding each other. The recognition of each other is also the acceptance of oneself. Without putting the camera in anyone’s place, the film calmly watches the father and the son, just as the father views his son and the son views his father.
