Makoto Kobayashi

Anime director, Makoto Kobayashi, has captivated fans with his unique vision of the world. His talent captures attention from all over the globe. He is not only known for designing mecha, but also as a modeler. In “ICE”, in addition to being director, Kobayashi was also responsible for the mecha, artwork, and concept design. He has been involved in the mecha design for various well-known anime, such as “Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ”, “Giant Robo”, “Final Fantasy: Unlimited”, and “YAMATO 2520”. In “Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ” and “Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam”, Kobayashi designed MARASAI, THE-O, BOUND-DOC, GAZA-C, and ZZ-GUNDAM. He has also taken part in such anime including “The Tower of Druaga – The Aegis of URUK –”, “Brave Story”, “AFRO SAMURAI”, “Trinity Blood”, “YAMATO 2520”, as well as many other hit anime.
