The women’s dance presents a sexual fantasy to its viewers, but to the dancers, the dance is just a job that helps them manage their daily life and dream of having independent lives. The documentary also captures the sincere voices of these women whose work is handed down from their mothers. The film meditates on the significance of gender, sexuality, labor, and popular culture.
