Many Asian film directors have been expanding their portfolios to include directing music videos due to interests in the related field, wanting to experiment with new images, or to raise money for other film productions. PIFF has gathered these music videos into one film. Works from internationally famous directors such as Wisit Sasanatieng, Pen-Ek Ratanaruang, Ho Yuhang, Yasmin Ahmad, and Yamashita Nobuhiro, to up-and-coming promising directors like Edwin and Auraeus Solito are included in this exposition of music videos made by directors covering a variety of generations and styles. This is a rare opportunity to view these directors’ experimentations, which will surely provide more insight into their film works.
