BENNY LAU, born in 1975 in Hong Kong, wrote the screenplay "THE WOODEN-MAN CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN TEMPLE" in 2007, which was selected as one of the projects of Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP) of PIFF 2007. The project is now in pre-production stage and will be his directorial feature film debut with the acclaimed international film maker TERENCE CHANG (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE II, RED CLIFF) as his producer. LAU also wrote and directed his debut short film, MR. RIGHT, with PANG HO-CHEUNG (ISABELLA, EXODUS) as the producer and featuring PATRICK TAM (BORN WILD) and ISABEL CHAN (TRIVIAL MATTERS), in 2008.
